In March 2000 we did a trip to the Maldives. The
islamic country of the maldives consists of several atolls located in the Indian Ocean
between the south tip of India and the equator. The total number of islands is about 1190
and about 200 are inhabited. As most people who visit these islands we came there to dive.
During the first week we made a trip on a safari boat ("Catfish") and at the
second week we stayed at Ellaidhoo. Due to pure organisation of our travel agency (German
"Neckermann" company) we had to spend one night at Bandos Island.
